About Our School
Creative World School at Short Pump is coming soon to your community! Conveniently located near the vibrant Short Pump area in Glen Allen, Virginia, our school will serve families throughout surrounding neighborhoods, including Short Pump, Wyndham, Twin Hickory, Fox Hall, Grey Oaks, Shady Grove Meadows, and Barrington, as well as nearby areas across Henrico County and northern Glen Allen. Families looking for a trusted preschool and childcare program in the Short Pump and Glen Allen area will soon have a new option designed with curiosity and learning in mind.
When Creative World School at Short Pump opens, families can expect an engaging and innovative approach to early childhood education that inspires creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. Our preschool and childcare programs will serve infants, toddlers, twos, preschool, Pre-K, and school-age children. Our state-of-the-art facility will include advanced security features and thoughtfully designed learning spaces, supported by a team of dedicated educators focused on each child’s growth and development.
Preschool and Pre-K students will experience our signature Exploratorium™, a unique wonder room where children participate in hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM), encouraging curiosity and discovery through inquiry-based learning.
School-age children up to 12 years old will enjoy CW Kid’s Club, which includes before- and after-school care, transportation to and from local elementary schools such as Short Pump Elementary and other Henrico County schools, as well as CampTastic, our spring, summer, and winter break camp programs.

CW Cares: Giving Back
We believe children of all ages can learn to give back! Through our system partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand, we support childhood cancer research with our very own lemonade stands and fun activities integrated into our curriculum. Local initiatives like Trike-a-Thon, Pink Out Day, and seasonal food drives will help us give back to our community year-round.
