The new location at 804 Balmy Beach Drive is easily accessible and conveniently located for parents and caregivers in the area. Our hands-on approach integrates STEAM learning opportunities to develop critical thinking skills and investigate real-world ideas. Investigating real questions through inquiry learning is the foundation of our curriculum. Inquiry is the “i” in iSTEAM and encourages a student’s curiosity as they develop problem solving skills and build a foundation for lifelong learning.

Nicholas and Amanda RolonNicholas and Amanda Rolon are residents of Oviedo, FL, and have four beautiful children. While they are a busy working family, the Rolon’s always make time to be involved in all their children’s activities. When not working, you can find them at a dance recital, a baseball game, a football field or watching a horseback riding competition. Getting outdoors whenever they can, the whole family loves any activity that keeps them moving, laughing, and having fun! Motivated by the early childhood education experiences of their children, the Rolon’s understood the need for school options that nurture and cultivate young minds. This set them on the journey of opening their Oviedo location in 2018. Since opening, their Oviedo location has received numerous awards. Some of the most exciting highlights have come from the Creative World School corporate office, where they have been awarded the “Out of This World” award for financial and quality excellence. Additionally, the Oviedo Creative World scored the highest score recorded by any school in the system on their annual Inspection for Quality (IQ) in 2023. Amanda and Nick were also awarded the “Core Values” award by the corporate team for their willingness and commitment to live and breathe the brand. Nick and Amanda have set a goal to enrich not only the lives of the children through hands-on exploration and learning, but also to make a positive impact on the Apopka community for years to come.

Carey MuseCarey Muse, School Director, is delighted to lead the Creative World School in Apopka team! Carey has previously led the Oviedo school and is a huge reason that it is recognized as the incredible school it is now. She is excited and ready to bring her expertise to Apopka and duplicate all of the prior achievements earned in Oviedo. She has worked with children for the past 15 years and loves every moment of it. Her commitment to children and families show in her daily interactions, her high expectations and her leadership using teachable moments for staff, children and families alike. Carey holds her degree in Early Childhood Development, has obtained her nationally recognized CDA and is a certified Director in the state of Florida. She believes that learning is not just for children and has proven it with her continued pursuit of early childhood excellence. When not serving the families and children of Oviedo, working to prepare for the amazing experience the families in Apopka can look forward to, Carey spends the majority of her time with her beautiful daughter who was born while she lived in Okinawa, Japan, and her Goldendoodle fur-baby, Duke! Carey ensures that every moment is a teachable moment for children, and through this is helping each child to grow in their early childhood learning journey by creating every day learning adventures at Creative World.
